The first week !

The pups are growing well, their birth-weight was between the 265 and 298 gram. Mable had a quick confinement, within one and a half hour, her 5 little babys were born!! The first day they grow about 15 gram. But now it is going faster,  30 gram each day. Ofcourse they sleep and drink only, during the day !! 

By a good mothercare of Mable the pups are learning their first steps into their young live !!

 When the pups are born their ears and eyes are still closed, within 9 days they will open !! But feel and smell eachother is very important this moment !!

A head as big as mamies feet !!

A well filled puppystomach, look at those black foot-soles, it is a sign that they will become very dark blue-roans !!
